Claude and his son Charles De Latour came from Dieppe, normandie on Feb 25, 1610 by a ship ran by Poutrincourt. Companions were Charles de Biencourt and Jacques de Salazar, FAther Jessé Fléché, Louis hébert and Thomas Robin de Coulogne, son of the Governor of Dieppe who financed the expedition.
