Marie Arcular

Marie was a woman who took advantage of the king of France's program of supply brides for the male settlers in Canada.
She was born in Saint Nicolas Des Champs in Paris. Her parents are Jean Arcular, (who was a master Carpenter) and Catherine Coin.
After the death of her father, sometime before 1669 she left for Canada at about age 18. She brought goods wort about 250 lives for her dowery. She married on 28 October 1669 to Claude Lefebvre did Boulanger at Sainte Famile, Ile d'Orleans. On the occasion of her marriage she received 50 Livres as a dowery from the king. She and her husband had ten children.
