Alfred Eugene Scott

Alfred was murdered by his father-in-law while reading a newspaper at the
breakfast table in his home. John Brown then made an attempt at suicide after
the shooting. Mr Brown was living with his the Scott family and after
entering the parsonage kitchen with a "Good Morning" greeting, shot Mr Scott
in the head with a .22 rifle. Alfred's wife and 13 year old son witnessed the
murder.
