1. When Laura was young she had typhoid fever, crawled out of bed, and ate some pickles from jar- Rebecca her mother thought Laura died. Layed her out and people came to view body. Old black lady came by and said" can't believe she is dead". She asked Rebecca for a mirror and hint of molasses, told Rebecca to get blankets to warm the body and Laura woke up.Endnotes
