Funeral services for Mr.Larkin Graham.Kennedy,65 of Marion,were heldat 10 A:M last Thursday at Conway Baptist Church,with Rev.s Maurice Cotton and Crawford Green officiating. Interment followed in Conway Cemetery near Marion, under direction of Kilpatricks of Farmerville.
Mr Kennedy died last Tuesday at Glenwood Regional Medical Center of West Monroe after a lengthy illness.
A native of Marion,he was a member of Conway Baptist Church,and was retired from the Union Parish Police Jury.
Survivors include one son,Larkin Graham Kennedy jr.of San Diago,Calif.one daughter,Mrs Beverly Johnston of Simsboro;two step daughters ;Mrs Joann Lowery of Farmerville;and Mrs Marie Seward,of Sima,Calif.;three brothers, W.P. Kennedy, Glendell Kennedy, both of Marion,and Oral Lee Kennedy of Farmerville;two sisters,Mrs Faye Saterfiel,of Marion,and Charlene Kozlowski,of Sidney,New York;17 grandchildren and 8 Great grandchildren.
Pallbearers :Alton West,Dave Lowery,Rick Slayton,Bob Slayton,Patrick Grey and James Grey.
A son Micheal Scott Kennedy Preceded him in death,as did his wife Johannah.
