Was living on his farm of "Sandy Spring" in the Glades Hundred or district #1 in 1800. This was in Allegany Co (now Garrett). The Maryland assesment roll of 1798 for Glades Hundred assesses Michael Paugh, Sr. with 63 acres of land, 2 horses and 13 cows with a total assessement of 53 English Pounds, 18 shillings, 8 pence. Michael Paugh's family consisted of him, his wife and 5 children in 1800. According to a bible that was in possession of Charles Paugh (b. 1893), descendent of William Paugh (b. 1818) we get the descendents.
