Arlo Homer Williams

(18 Nov 1924 - 12 Aug 1964)

Arlo's life began on November 18, 1924 in Catlin IL. He was only 8 days
old when his mother died, his father gave him to Cora ( Davis) & Homer
Carrigan. They were his Foster Parents and they are related to Arlo's
Mom. Arlo's dad also gave his other kids up for adoption at the same
time. As a child Arlo built model airplanes, and as he grew up he went in
to the navy. then on to working on airplanes in Calf. He did not see his
kids much, they were given tohim and the he got remarried and it is said
that his new wife did not wont the two girls around so he gave them to
his foster mother and foster father toraise. The girls lived with Her
on and off until Cora's death. then they went to live with there mother
and at some time Jerri ( Cora's Daughter).
No one nows the reason Arlo choose sides with his wife and not the girls,
What ever it was when Arlo did come to see the girls They were made to go
to there room and could not come out. No one nows why. It was not talked
about. I believe he was a good and quiet man, He owned a pocket watch
that my mom now has which will some day be passed on to Jeremy Burghduff
my brother.
