He was 46, took his life Wednesday afternoon at his home here by drinking
carbolic acid. Believed to have been despondent for quite some time. Came
home from his work at the Wabash River Ordnance plant yesterday afternoon,
drank the acid in the kitchen of his home on N. Virginia St, then went
intoa
bedroom where his wife was ironing & told her good-bye." He died 2 hours
later
