Robert N Hill

When Robert was 17 years old, he fought in the last of the long drawn out
Indian Wars in Florida, helping to drive the Seminole Indians deeper into FL.
He served as a bugler with the Second Georgia Mounted Volunteers. Robert also
fought in the Civil War near Bloomfield, although he did not ant to fight, he
joined the Stoddard Co., Rangers in 1861. Robert was known as "Uncle Bobbie"
by friends & relatives.
