Sir John the Fugitive sent in 1483 by King Richard III as a messenger bearing a letter from the King to Sir Robert Brackenbury, who was the keeper of the tower. In this letter, the King said his 2 nephews should be put to death. Sir Robert refused the order, but the order was later carried out by someone else. John the Fugitive had to flee from England. This letter was never proven, but later called the Buckingham/Tutor Rebellion of 1483.
