James signed his name and Mary made her mark (X). They were married by the vicar J. N. Morrison. The witnesses were Anne Bevan and Edmund T. Perrott.

Residence (family)

Living with James, Mary and baby George on census night 1841 was 80 year old Sarah Phillips. She was born in Carmarthenshire in about 1761. She died in Llansadurnen in June 1846 and was buried in Laugharne Parish Church on the 13th of June 1846. She was recorded as being 85 years old. Her relationship to James is unknown.
