A Deacon and a Revolutionary War Veteran. From Sept 1776 - Mar 1777, he was paymaster for Baldwins Regt. Also took 2 companies to Ticonderoga under General Burgoyne for its defense. He and his wife Dorcas, a cousin, had 16 children of record.
