Alex worked on his fathers farm until 16 or 17. He then learned the tr a d e of butcher from Jerry Waughaman at Harrison City. At he age of 18 A l e x opened his first butcher shop in Harrison City. After 2 years he m o v ed to Irwin where he had a shop for 12 years. Alex then went to Mano r w h ere he opened the Hotel Pool, which he operated for 2 years.
