Cheryl graduated with distinction in 1979 from George Mason University , V a . with a B.S degree in Business Administration. She was on the Dea ns L i st at Virginia Tech during her Freshman year before transferring t o G M U. Cheryl worked art time at the Northern Virginia Bank while goin g t o s chool and continued there for several years after graduating. Fro m t h ere she worked for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. known as "F re d die Mac" and rose to Division Supervisor before leaving to raise her f a m ily.
