In the 1840 Tax List of Hempfield Twp., George is listed as a "weaver' . G e orge moved to Clarion County about 1846. Henry is listed in an i ndex a s age 30 , Clarion Co., Red Bank Twp., 1870 Census. George might h av e had two more sons, George Jr. and Jacob. More research is needed. G e o rge was counted twice during the 1850 Census. Apparently he movedfrom L i m estone Twp. to Redbank between August and September, after thecensus w a s t aken at Limestone and before in Redbank. Note how unreliableare the a g e s given at this period.
