Clarence was a resident of Nemaha County his entire life. He and Fern f a r med all their married life and were still residing on the farm when C l a rence died. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Auburn, o f t h e Board of Directors of the Soil Conservation Service, of the Nemah a C o unty Fair Board. He wads the winner of the Goodyear Conservation A wa r d in the 1940s.
