Dec. 13, 1862 and sent to General Hospital #19 at Richmond, VA on May 3, 1863. Pension records show he was captured near Saltville, VA in 1864 and was released at Point Lookout, MD on June 1, 1865. (Born in GA Sept 30, 1837). Application for pension 1897 GCP 246, 8 images.
