Dave Tarrance enlisted in the Campbell Volunteers on August 12, 1861. He served in Company E, 35'th Regiment of Georgia Voluntrees, Army of Northern Virginia, CSA. Last record shows him present in June, 1864. His Regiment was in the Battle of Manassas, Seven Pines, Gettysburg, Wilderness, Spotsylvania, etc.
