Brady (RNS) -- William Arthur Wingo, 81 of Rochelle, retired farmer, died at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday in Leisure Lodge Nursing Home after a brief illness. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday in Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Ray Ash, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Rochelle Cemetery, northeast of here.
Born Nov. 9, 1893, in Franklin AL, Mr. Wingo married Annie Mae Henderson Nov. 2, 1914, in Placid, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Wingo was a 61-year Rochelle resident and a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Melvin Lubke of San Antonio; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Rutlin and Mrs. Laura Ollifant, both of Austin; three brothers, Ollie of Houston, Gillie of Colorado and Austin of Kerrville; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
