Died
Mrs. Mary A. Wingo who was born in Talladega County, Alabama, July 17th, 1824 died in the trumphs of a living faith April the 16th 1892. She professed religion and joined the Baptist church at 20 years of age and lived a consistent member worthy of imitation for more than 40 years. She was married to A. W. Wingo on the 22d of December 1853 which union was blessed with four children, two of whom survive her to mourn their loss.
"Blessed are they who die in the Lord for their works do follow them."
I would not live always nor welcome the tomb, Since Jesus hath laid there I dread not its gloom,
There sweet be my rest till he bids me arise, To hail him in triumph descending the skies."
