Wingo, A. M. Acres of land: 40 acres tilled and 200 acres woodland and forest Farm value: $300 farm and buildings, $5 farm equipment, $75 livestock Fencing: cost of repairs in 1879 was $10. Estimated value of farm production in 1879 was $200. Number of horses was one (1), oxen was two (2), and one (1) milk cow. Eleven (11) swine and four (4) hen yards. Twelve acres of corn produced 75 buschels. Seven acres of cotton produced 2 bales of cotton. One acre of flax. One half acre of sorghum produced 25 gallons of molasses. One fourth acre of sweet potatoes produced 30 bushels. There was also 20 bearing apple trees and 40 bearing peach trees.
