Born December 15, 1921 in Readsville, TN (Cannon Co.) He grew up in Woodsbury and graduated from Woodbury High School. US Navy World War II veteran and graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in Electrical Engineering in 1949. He was Head Engineer of Volunteer Electric Co-op in Decatur TN and was the owner and General Manage of Mid Tenn Electric Company in Nashville TN, He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Shriner Alhambra Lodge and also past member of Brook Hollow Baptist Church. Devoted husband of Sally Pitts Williams for 62 years. Sisters Juanita Williams Goodwin of VA and Dorothy Williams Vaughn of Murfreesboro, TN. Father of David (Genie) Williams, Mary (Haworth) Parks, Debbie (Russell) Wingo. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Active Pallbears are Chris Williams, Grove Harris, R. T. Wingo, David Wingo and David Kofink. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday Octobe 4, 2004 at 1 p. m. at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends today Sunday from 4- 6 p. m. and Monday one hour prior to the graveside services at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy. 100, Nashville, TN, 615-646-9292.
