Mrs. Barbara C. Wingo, 47 wife of Isaac Wingo, died at 4 a. m. Wednesday at her home on Highland Avenue following an illiness of five weeks. She had undergone treatment in an Evansville Hospital a part of the time.
Survivors are the husband; a daughter, Opal Mae, at home; three sons, all of whom are in the service, Pvt. James william Wingo, at a port of embarkation in California when last heard from, Cpl. Curtis Carrol Wingo, Philippine islands, and Harold Clifton Wingo, in naval training at Great Lakes, Ill.; one hranddaughter; parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. K. Threlkeld, Providence; four sisters, Mrs. Gregg Hearon of Wheatcroft, Mrs. Waymon Gray and Mrs. Gilbert Knight of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Edward Owens of Inster, Mich.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p. m. in the General Baptist Church, with the pastor, the Rev. C. W. Duffer, officiating.
Pallbears will be Gregg Hearon, Gilbert Knight, Virgil Stevens, clara Wingo, Ottie Gray, and the Rev. W. M. Frisby. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery.
