Marriage

John Blake married Sarah Hall, a daughter of Richard Hall, in Malden, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. In 1673 this couple moved to Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut. They had nine children.

Death

The inventory of his estate was made in 1690, his widow administratrix, with her father Richard Hall, and her brother John Hall overseers. Estate ,£234, 12s. 6d- His son Richard was eleven months old at the death of his father.

Intestate, and that part of his Real Estate set out to the Widow Sarah Blake
hath never been dist. to her, and ought to be anew apprised before a just
Dist. can be made. This Court appoint Richard Blake, of Middletown, Adms.
He resided in Middletown, CT.41 In 1683, John Blake purchased property
from his father, George Durant. He was married to Sarah HALL in 1673 in
Malden, MA.42
