Guy Finch immigrated from England in 1674 on board the ship Dover.
Purchased 100 acres "Goodwill" in 1681.
In 1684 he purchased an additional 118 acres called Woodbridge. Both tracts were located in Calvert County a few miles south of the town of Upper Marlborough.
