WILL of Zachariah WADE, Prince Georges County, Maryland. Written: December 13, 1744 Probated: April 8, 1745.
To son ZACHARIAH, "Stoney Harbour", north side Tinkers Run and "Wade's Adventure".
Reserving to MARY, my beloved wife, her dower (page 52)
To daughter MEEK, 100 acres of "Stoney Harbour", which land was bequethed to him by his father,
ROBERT WADE.
To daughters ANN and MARY ANN, "Wade's Adventure" lying near the head of Piscattaway Creek, 150 acres, which I purchased of ROBERT WADE, JR.
To daughter MEEK, 1 horse which came from RICHARD WADE'S mare and was broke and gaited by Alexander Norton (Pages 52 & 53).
My late daughter ELIZABETH, the wife of RICHARD HARRISON, was peovided for when married to said HARRISON, now deceased.
To JOSEPH, s/o said HARRISON, money for mourning rings.
To VIRLINDER, the daughter of said HARRISON, also by my said daughter ELIZABETH, whe she is age
16 or on her date of marriage
To grand-son GEORGE WADE, 20 shillings.
To JOHN, the son, and SARAH, the daughter, of my late brother, deceased.
WITNESS: John Tolson, Stephen Pickering, James Kendall
April 8, 1745 came MARY WADE, executrix and declared she was determined to have her thirds of deceased's estate and would not abide by the devise as in will. (MCW IX.22; Wills, 24.51)
