1775: Donald L. Wilson, "Hillary Ball and His Descendants," Prince George's County Genealogical Society Bulletin: 6, "Richard Ball made his will 27 Feb. 1775, proved 6 Oct. 1775 [PG Wills T#1, p. 15]. In it he names his daughter Ann Barritt and her eight children, granddaughter Elenour Walker, daugher Sarah Simpson, son Hillary Ball, grandsons Richard and and Daniel Ready, "sons" ["grandsons" is intended] Zachariah and Jessy Wheat, granddaughters Verlinder and Elizabeth Wheat, son Henry Ball, and son Richard Ball who was to receive the residue of the estate."
