From Mrs. Smallwood's book, Benjamin Burch ( decd. before 1744/45, and thought to be son of Oliver Burch (1646-1729) listed nearest kin as Jonathan Burch & Rebecca Burch. Rebecca Burch, married Robert Hendley Courts, and had children:
Charles Courts,
William Courts,
Ann, widow of John Cocksey,
Margaret, widow of Thomas Barron,
Eleanor, wife of Jesse Barron.
In 1786 Oliver Barron, Chas Co., requested a deed of gift be recorded, Oliver Burch gave to his grandson Oliver Barron one negro fellow named Tom. Henry Burch was witness. [PGCo. Deeds Lib.HH no.1:65]
