James French brought before me a middle sized horse, branded on the near shoulder with the letter[s] WB and also on the near buttock WB or W, which horse he alleges is very mischievous & breaks into his wheat patch and corn field. Therefore he may keep him until the right owner demands him. Signed May 30, 1757 - Wm Eilbeck. Recorded Aug 19, 1757.
