He was of age in 1768, when he described himself as Samuel Luckett, Jr., of Prince Georges County, Maryland, and deeded to Daniel Payne, Gent., of Prince William County, Virginia, for 5 shillings the interest he claimed by the will of his grandfather (unnamed) and recovered by John Graham. This interest most likely referred to the Virginia land which Samuel Luckett, the emigrant, willed to his son, Thomas, in 1704.
