Ang, a Calvert descendant mang@juno.com. indicates that the mother os Sir George as "Alicia, daughter and heiress of John Crosland of Crosland." Maryland Historical Magazine II, page 369. Chances are that she had no brothers or sisters alive to inherit from John Crosland.
