Special petition and commission. We did, on Mar 19, 1743/44, repair to sd land, and in Small Branch that falls into Piscattaway Branch that runs between the plantation that Samuel Queen now lives on, and that of Joseph Green Sympson, and likewise near an Old Path that leads from Richard Conner's to Edward Marlow's, took the following depositions, viz - Edward Marlow Sr, aged about 78, declares that many years ago, old Richard Conner, at several times, showed this deponent the bound tree which he now has his hand on, and told this deponent that it was the 2nd bound tree of a tract of land called St Thomas, belonging to William Spalding, & the 1st bound tree of his own land, which he then lived on.
