Squire Henry Tyson
(5 Oct 1742 - 24 Mar 1817)
He moved to York County just before the Revolution, was a local magistrate, served in the Militia during the war and was a representative to the state legislature under the first and second PA state constitutions just after the revolution.
Henry served in the first class of a Company of York Co., PA Militia commanded by Alexander Liggett. This company was engaged chiefly in guarding the frontier and guarding and transferring prisoners.
