He was concerned in a number of land transactions, and in a deed of partition of a tract of land in the plat attached as "William Potts for John Moore." Letters of administration were granted upon the estate of one William B. Potts 1808 (William Bickins Potts).

Letter of administration were granted "unto Isaac White on the Estate of William B. Potts, mariner, deceased," on September 14, 1808. TMP

He was married to Esther "Hester" MOORE (daughter of Stacy MOORE and Sarah) on Apr 10 1764 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania.
