Deed of Gift, recorded at the request of Thomas Jenkins,I, Thomas Jenkins, for divers good causes, give to Lesley Corry, youngest son of my wife, Mary Jenkins, a Negro girl named Jane, daughter of Nell Hogan. I have put sd Lesley Corry in full possession by virtue hereof, but if he dies without. lawful issue, Negro Jane and her increase is to be returned to me. Signed Dec 18, 1780 - Thomas Jenkins. Wit - Wm Francis Neale, Ann Digges. The deed of gift was executed before John Digges, Recorded Jan 28, 1781.
