He was prob signer of the following: We whose names are Underwritten, being duly Impressed with the Calamitious Circumstances of the Inhabitants of America from the Oppresive Acts of the British Parlement, Tending to Enslave this Continent, do find it necessary, for the Security of our Lives and Fortunes, and above all, Our Liberty and Freedom, to Associate ourselves into a Voluntary Company under the Command of James Jones, anb that we will hold ourselves in Readiness for Our Mutual Security and Defense, to Obey all such Orders as shall be directed by our Provincial Congress."
