I have William Newton m. Elizabeth ____bef. 1785. He died 1795 in St. Mary's Co. and Elizabeth ___m. second, Ignatius Brown (son of Nicholas Brown and Appalonia Thompson and widower of Ann ___), August 1, 1796. They went to KY. Elizabeth died in 1821--no death date for Ignatius but before that year.
Jesuit Missions gives the name of the first wife of Ignatius Newton as Elizabeth. I had an email from someone in 2000 who said her name was Elizabeth S. Brown. I have found no evidence that that's true.
