Marriage

in 1792 he married his first cousin Margaret Foulke, daughter of Theophilus. As such a marriage was against the rule of Friends, it was not accomplished "according to the order of the Society," but in the presence of his cousin Theophilus Foulke, a justice of the peace, and subsequently Richland Meeting had the case up as a matter of discipline for some time. Cadwallader, however, continued a Friend, and he was a valuable member at Gwynedd.
