Mrs. Mills states that Katherine was born "cir 1674". Gilland states: "From the records we determine that Catherine was born about 1652, probably in England and emigrated to Maryland by 1668. Catherine was an indentured servant of John Jarboe of St. Mary's County and served as a governess to his children."
