I [Kristina Newcomer] found a letter in the LDS records that was written by a CROCKWELL descendent that said, "George Crockwell's father [John Daniel Madeira Crockwell] was baptized in 1858 [into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints]. He was a high priest and a polygamist." That was no date or name attached to this letter fragment.
