Separation
After Michael McMAHON and Anna (WALSH/WELSH) McMAHON separated (about 1914), he went to live with his daughter Ruth in Los Angeles, CA. He said that California reminded him of Ireland (per Aunt Thelma). Of course, at that time Los Angeles was a city of orange groves!Anna lived with her daughter, Mary FULKS, in Detroit. She died there of leukemia. Mary took her "home" to Keokuk, Lee, IA for burial.
Burial
Calvary Cemetery is located on Whittier Boulevard at Eastern Avenue just west of the 710 Freeway.Endnotes
