1770 March 10, Satterthwaite, Samuel, of Chesterfield, Burlington, NJ, yeoman; will of. Wife, Susannah, L50; also L10 a year, and to be provided for on the place. Son, Samuel, L25, and 1/2 of my cedar swamp. Daughter, Mary Harvey, L100. Daughter, Jane Gaunt, L100. Daughter, Hannah Linton, L100. Son, William, the plantation where I live, which is part in Chesterfield and part in Mansfield, said county; also 2 small tracts joining each other in Mansfield; also a meadow joining Curtis an Pancoast; also 30 acres joining Isaac Decow and Benjamin Tallman, and 1/2 of my cedar swamp. Executors -- sons, William and Samuel. Witnesses -- Gervas Pharo, Edith Ware, Matthew Forsyth. Proved August 23, 1773.1773 Sept 17. Inventory, L683.15.2, made by William Shreve and John Chapman.
