Maud Dempsey, Plaintiff vs Roy Dempsey, Defendant
To Roy Dempsey:
You are hereby notified that there will be on file on or before October 28, 1921, in the office of the clerk of the district court of the above named county and state, a petition of Maud Dempsey, claiming of you an absolute divorce, and alleging as the ground therefor, that you have since you marriage to plaintiff, willfully deserted her and absented yourself from her, without reasonable or just cause therefor, for a period of more than two years. Now, unless you appear thereto ad defend on or before noon of the second day of the next term of said court to be held at the court house in Mason City, Iowa, in said county, commencing on Nov. 7, 1921, default will be entered against you and judgment rendered thereon in accordance with the prayer of said petition.
