Land Record
Roger ANDREWS, while living in England, bought from Thomas Marshall of Sileby, Leicestershire, England by deeds of lease and release "a one-fifteenth part of a propriety in the province of West New Jersey as now commonly called Broad Meadow or Great Meadow adjoining and lying near to the lands of one Jonathan Eldridge and lying and being in the liberties and territories of Evesham in the County of Burlington." The indentures were witnessed by his son Thomas ANDREWS who had been in West Jersey sometime previously, and who had evidently brought the deeds with him for recording, for he swore to his signature in Burlington, NJ before Hugh Huddy, justice, on 17 Jun 1712.Endnotes
