The 1910 census of Nipomo Township, San Luis Obispo County, California states that Rene was 14 years old at the time of the census. It lists Rene as a son, not a step-son, however, Nora and William R. Glover had not been married long enough to have a 14 year old son. It is likely that Rene was Nora's son from a previous marriage, as the census lists this as a second marriage for both Nora and William.
