Property
Ebenezer ANDREWS purchased 56 acres of land in Eveshan Twp., Burlington, NJ from Joseph and Hannah (Allen) Heritage on 1 May 1745 and died intestate there in 1750/51. On 28 Feb 1750/51, Thomas ANDREWS (Andrew's father) on behalf of Ebenezer's two daughters, Hannah and Phebe, renounced his right to administer the estate of his desceased son, and administration was granted to the widow, Mary, her father Henry WARRINGTON being surety on her bond (NJW 7:103; NJA 30:20) 9 Mar 1750/51. Thomas LIPPINCOTT, grandfather of Hannah and Phebe ANDREWS, "infants under the age of fourteen years," was appointed their guardian.Souce: Genealogical Magazine of New Jersey: Vol. 2, page 414.
