Christopher Avery

Christopher AVERY came from England on the "Arbella" with the Winthrop Fleet to Gloucester, MA in 1630. Removed to Boston in 1659, New London, CT in 1665. Was declared a freeman in 1669. He was a weaver, selectman in 1646, 1652 and 1654, clerk of the band, and constable.
