Obituary
Obituary:PETERS, William W. Sr., age 88, formerly of Dayton, of Lewisburg, OH, died Friday, Jan 7, 2005. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, served 29 years with the City of Dayton Fire Department and he was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith (Lanich) Peters; a son, David M. Peters; brother Don B. Peters; and sister, Betty (Peters) Haines. Mr. Peters is survived by two sons, two grandsons, great grandsons, two step-great grandchildren, one brother Jack Peters and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home, 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at North Maine Street by Rev. William W. Peters, Jr. Entombment will follow at Royal Oak Mausoleum.
