He left his wife Lovewell 100 Acres during her life [Original At N.C. Archives]. More than 10 years later on 7 May 1761 she & her heirs, Lucy Jones & Thomas Cugley, sold this land for £75 to Jethro Bass, her deceased husband's Grand nephew [DB 3:121]. Grandfather Gave him "land where my late son John dwelt." Benjamin1 Bass (Edward1, John1), born say 1722, was the executor of his father's Northampton Co. will by which he received 125 Acres where his father was living on Quarter Swamp in Northampton Co.
