Death
James R. Furr, 91, of La Crosse, died on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Brookdale in La Crosse. He was born on April14, 1935 to Freeman and Edna (Klickner) Furr. James had worked for many years at Gateway Foods. He is survived by his wife Donna, Daughter Robin Del Rio, Son Mike Furr, and grandchildren, Kara, Jessica, and James. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Services of La Crosse. Pastor Craig Chappell will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Memorials may be given to the Onalaska Church of Christ-Love Local Ministry.Endnotes
